Mr. Attaf Participates in Extraordinary Meeting of the MFA Council of OIC Member Countries
Assigned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf arrived Monday in Jeddah, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a sister country, to partake on Tuesday in an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
This extraordinary session will focus on developments in the continuing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, and on ways to enable the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to step up its efforts and exert pressure to contribute effectively and efficiently to stop the genocidal war being waged on the Palestinian people.
Attaf's participation in this meeting will be an opportunity to reaffirm Algeria's constant support for the Palestinian cause and its unwavering commitment to pursue its efforts and steps to bring the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities towards the Palestinian people.
The FM will also hold bilateral meetings with the OIC Secretary General, as well as with many of his counterparts attending this session.
